Frequently Asked Questions
Customers have asked us many questions. Here are a few of the more interesting ones:
Q:Which browser should I use to view Meeyums Kitchen? Which is best?
A:We have seen much better results with Firefox or Safari but IE should be fine.
Q: We have an event in two weeks for 100 people. We need someone to do the whole thing – can you help?
A: Yes. We discussed the budget, figured out the menu and got everything done in time and within budget.
Q: Can you provide 11 items and four desserts for a party for 50?
A: Yes, although prep time will take longer and cost more.
Q: Can we have you come on a regular basis? Can you decide the menu and provide us with our meal at a designated time?
A: Yes, Meeyums Kitchen currently does this for doctor’s offices, hospitals, various companies, and client’s homes.
Q: Can you provide alcohol for a gathering we are having?
A: No, we are not currently licensed to provide or serve alcohol.
Q: Have you considered selling some of your items in stores?
A: Yes, but so far we have not done so other than special orders from clients. We want to maintain the freshness and quality and until can reliably do so, we will wait.
Q: Can I get some of your home made granola and your fresh salsa?
A: Absolutely. I typically make a couple of batches each week for various customers.
Q: Can I order one of your wonderful desserts when I have a few friends over? How much lead time do I need to give you? Do you deliver?
A: Yes, give me at least three days in advance. We can work something out for deliveries. If you are near a delivery I am already doing, it will not be an issue but typically we do not deliver just a single item. Our most popular is the trifle but we have gotten lots of feedback on all of our desserts. Go see just a few on the flickr link on the home page.

Price
Q: How much do you charge per person for an event?
A: It depends. Here are the typical questions I ask in order to answer that question:
- Number of guests?
- Event Type (Anniversary, Baby Shower, Graduation Party, etc.)
- Event Date?
- Start Time?
- Service Requested? (Beverages Only, Drop Off, Buffet, Full Sit Down Service)
- What food items are you thinking about?
- Do you want full service?
- Do you need any other services other than catering? We have relationships with companies of all types (musicians, photographers, videographers, cleaning crews, and more).
Next we agree on a price for the event and Meeyums Kitchen can do our magic. For many of our engagements, we have a tasting if our client cannot make a clear choice between two or more dishes.
